paul, adam, and myself made it up to the saginaw river in michigan for a few days of fishing. we were expecting lots of 20's and possibly some 30's but that's not what happened. although everyone caught a fish over 20lbs they were just few and far between. lots of fish were caught that ran between 12 and 16lbs. i had over 50 fish myself with the biggest being 21lbs and the next 19lbs14oz, and i was bringing in my poles at night. we were fishing big rigs and big baits and still catching mediocre fish. a little disappointing but i still had a good time. i just don't know if it was worth the 6 1/2 hour drive.

We had a massive amount of action,at times unable to keep 3 or even 2 rods in the water. It did not seem to matter what you threw at them either,I was alternating Boilies,Corn ,Tigers and pack, and everything was running constantly!Adam set up a "work station" for baiting up,and this was pretty busy, and we got through quite a bit of bait.(Thanks for the pack dude!) I lost a couple of what felt like good Fish,a few dollars in rigs and leads, and almost killed one of my Reels! But all in all it was a fun experience with a lot of hard fighting Carp between us. Like Joey says though,I don't know if I want to drive 5 hours plus again unless there are some monsters on the cards. Here's to our next expedition! cheers guys wink.gif
