I have noticed a trend on some fishing forums which has probably been discussed before but I thought it would be good to remind everyone:

Bowfisherman getting on carp boards for info.

I have no problem sharing as much info as I possibly can with catch and release anglers, but I am not interested in helping BF kill fish of any kind.

Thus, if you have info on spawning grounds in lakes - rivers, etc. I would be careful, as they are watching.

I used to spear and bowfish Northern Indiana lakes many years ago, and I don't want to start some "hater" thread. I just realized that a bunch of dead carp, gar, and bowfin in the bottom of the boat was kind of pointless & wasteful.

Anyway, hopefully there aren't any BF looking in, but let's protect our resources.

Well said Tony, very observant. BIG Carp are precious, and we aren't exactly tripping over them are we?! Maybe keeping certain info confined to PM's etc could help avoid them seeing certain things. Good post...cheers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
